There are a number of surprisingly diverse facets to restaurant photography. Firstly, there are images of the dishes on the main restaurant menu. Secondly, images are required by hotels who offer full colour room service menus. And lastly, diners always love to see skilled or famous chefs in action in their favourite environment, the kitchen!
Menu Photography
Today, almost everyone in the UK has access to the Internet. Before deciding where to eat it’s not uncommon for people to read reviews and check out a restaurant’s website. You may be confident that you have a fantastic restaurant and that the food is fabulous – but attractive photography will get new customers through your doors so that you can impress them with your cuisine and service.
Seasons change and so do chefs. Keep your menu and website fresh and up-to-date with my vibrant and luscious photos. Don’t forget about special dates on the calendar such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day which can provide ample opportunity to market your business with the correct images!
This is by far my most popular service. Although I can take photos of all the dishes on the menu, it is often more striking to have a few particularly special ones highlighted with photographs. Depending on the time and situation, I can sometimes also offer a premium service to return processed photos to the client on the same day.
Michelle is a skilled photographer who is passionate about her craft and produces quality food and beverage images for us. Michelle is able to pick up the tone and feel of each of our brands with little instruction and is able to produce images that meet and exceed our expectations without assistance throughout the photography process. She is able to produce, edit, and supply the imagery almost immediately, which is perfect in our fast-paced environment. Michelle is a delight to work with and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone requiring high-class food photography.

Room Service Menu
Room service menu photography differs from a restaurant photography because instead of trying to capture the restaurant’s ambience, the focus is purely on the food. Using plain white props and backgrounds, combined with professional lighting, I am able to produce these images for you.
In The Kitchen
Open plan kitchens and chefs’ tables have become all the rage. Allow me to capture your skilled chefs in action, allowing customers a glimpse into the hidden world of the kitchen.
